microphone. let's work on that and then get back to her. let's go to jennifer delgado. she's in the cnn weather center in atlanta. what can you tell us? >> i can tell you a lot. we're still looking at snow coming down now for areas like amarillo, they were pounded yesterday with 19 inches of snowfall. but looking at the radar right now, right along interstate 7, you can see snow coming down. rain moving through st. louis. what we're going to see is more of that snow working in as we go throughout the afternoon. some of these locations are potentially going to pick up between 6 and 12 inches of snowfall. when you add that in with winds up to about 20, 25, of course we're going to be talking about very limited visibility. in fact, i want to point out to one bright side from yesterday. we had a lot more areas with the blizzard warnings. now notice we're just really looking at the northern part of oklahoma and that is going to be in place until 6:00 a.m. central standard time. but for kansas city as well as for areas up towards chicago and into detroit we have winter storm warnings and watc

begin tonight with new developments. cnn has just learned that governor chris christie, a key 2016 republican presidential hopeful is not invited to the conservative political action conference in washington, d.c. next week. that's according to a source close to cpac and if you haven't heard of it is often considered a must-attend for anybody who wants to win the white house from the gop. senator marco rubio of florida, bobby jindal, former governor jeb bush, rick perry of texas, all already on the list. is this a major snub? this news breaking late this afternoon. how big of a snub is it? >> i think it makes a lot of sense for c pack. caucuses was not going to show up this year. why bother asking him and give snubbed by the governor himself. do the snubbing yourself and say we don't want you here and it probably would have been a tough environment to be in frankly given that he is really pivoted to the center, some with a say to the left this year to win in a heavily democratic state. >> i can see why it doesn't make sense for him. i get the logic you're laying out. the president
